Tamper Resistant Labels
The labels are created to be used on any valuables and
can be tailored to incorporate specific businesses details
and or a logo. They can be any size or shape. Every Label
has a unique serial number and can have an 0800 number
laser etched onto it.
The security kit supplied consists of:
- A set of 3 tamper
resistant labels.
- A user guide
- Registration guide
How it Works
Step 1
The customer applies the labels to the property that they wish to protect.
Step 2
The customer simply registers the label by following
the registration guide i.e. texting, telephoning or going
to the Microtag web site “Buy Now”.
Step 3
On receipt of registration, the customers details
are entered on the ISR and their unique label is activated
immediately.
Step 4
When the lost or stolen property is recovered,
the Police simply call the 0800 helpline and quote the
unique serial number. The I.S.R will then give the police
rightful owners details.
What They Are
- The labels consist of silver and black
PU acrylic layers intermolecularly bonded together.
- A laser
cuts alphanumeric characters through
the top layer exposing the bottom layer.
- The labels are "Q" listed
by
Thatcham for automotive use under the
insurance industry vehicle security testing scheme.
- They
are weather resistant for at least
2000 hours (DIN 53387), temperature
resistant to –50°c and +200°c (short term +300°c), salt
spray resistant for over 24 hour.
- For attack test purposes
the labels can
be applied to any smooth surface.
- All
tests have proven that it is not possible to remove
a label intact
once applied.
