Staffordshire County Council
Following the introduction of MicroTag to Primary
and Secondary Schools. Staffordshire County Council are currently
piloting a scheme for Schools in their region. MicroTag was
brought to their attention when Julia Crishop, Head Teacher
of Norton Canes Primary School contacted us about MicroDots.
Julia explained “We were informed about the MicroTag tracing
system by our community police constable. In order for the
police to successfully prosecute, it is necessary to identify
the true owner. Our details are now entered on to a secure
database and in the event of loss the MicroDot can be traced
by the police to it's rightful owner and the thief prosecuted.
Hopefully we will never have to use it!” MicroTag have been
encouraging Schools across the country to use the property
tracing system to mark all their valuables including musical
instruments, computer equipment and video cameras etc
Outdoor Education Service

County Council LEA, we have seen details of the MicroDots

would be pleased if we could participate in this scheme.
